Here's how we'll do it:
First - this isn't like other online courses you may have signed up for in the past. Yes, you'll be learning things, but more importantly, you'll be doing things.
All the learning in the world isn't going to do you any good if you don't put it into action!
If you've ever known someone who was into woodworking, you know that their workshop was a magical place. It was a place they went to play, and create, and experiment, and learn. Somedays things didn't work out as well as they hoped, and other days all the pieces fit together perfectly and they created something beautiful.
That's my dream for this program - that we feel like we're in one big community workshop, all creating things on our workbenches (computers) comparing notes, learning from things that didn't work out, and celebrating together when all the pieces fall into place.
I want you to feel free to experiment as you work through this program. The whole purpose is to find something that feels good to YOU, and also connects with your clients. You might need to try a few different things before you land on the thing that works.
And honestly, that's true in business in general!! Everyone acts like there's only one way to do things, and that when something doesn't work, that's a failure. But that's not true at all. There are a MILLION different ways to succeed in business, and every time you try something new, and it doesn't work, you've learned something, and gotten one step closer to finding something that DOES work.
I also want you to leave this program with tools and processes in place that you can use to grow and build your business going forward. A process that you've customized, and honed, and practiced, and done enough that it will have become a part of your daily or weekly routine.

In the private Facebook group - I always prefer this option because chances are that if YOU have a question, other people have wondered the same thing, but were too shy or busy to ask, so this helps us help EVERYONE.
And - the more brains we have contributing to an answer the better! I don't know everything (shocking, I know. 😉 and often other members of the group will come up with a solution that I hadn't thought of. So you'll be getting better answers, too.
Via email - You can ALWAYS email me with any question you have. I sometimes want time to mull over my answer, but I will respond as quickly as I can (usually within 1 or 2 days, not counting weekends and holidays)
Coaching/Q&A sessions - These will be recorded sessions where I will give additional insight, answer questions that have been asked.
I'll do my best to help with ANY questions you have, but keep in mind that I'm not an expert on specific marketing platforms and tools, so may not be able to help with questions outside the scope of the program.

A content creation foundation
The foundation of this program is built on something that people in the marketing world call "content marketing". It is a strategy that uses content - blog posts, social media posts, YouTube videos, a podcast, etc. - to get the attention of potential clients and help them get to know, like, and, most importantly, trust you to help them plan their next vacation.
So we'll be starting there - learning about how this will all work, and outlining your plan for the content you want to create.

How often have you read a book, or attended a workshop, and had SO many incredible ideas that you wanted to implement, but then lost them all because they were buried somewhere in chapter 8, or on some scrap of paper that you were using to take notes on.
No more. I will be creating worksheets and checklists for you so that all of your ideas and tasks you need to get done will be easy to find when you need them

Q&A and Brainstorming calls if needed
There will be times when we'll be doing some work that involves coming up with ideas for your business and ways to communicate with your customers that may be new to you.
Often I find that traditional marketing advice doesn't work for the travel industry out of the box, and needs to be adjusted a bit to work for you and your business.
Anytime something like this comes we'll do some group brainstorming. What inevitably happens is that one idea sparks another and we end up with so many incredible ideas.

Tech tutorials
How many times have you been told "Just download this app. It's super easy!" only to find it's NOT that easy? Or at least, not intuitive. You have enough to do just serving your clients. You don't have an extra 5 hours a week trying to figure out a new tool!
I'm here to help. For most tools and resources I suggest, I'll be creating tutorials to help you out. You'll still have to do the work, but I'll do my best to cut the learning curve for you. 🙂
Again, I'm not an expert on every tool and platform out there! I'll do my best with things I specifically suggest in the course, but there will be some tools and specific features in some tools that I won't be able to help with.

Regular Co-working hours
Remember up there where I said marketing your business could be easy?
It is - it's as easy as going for a walk every day. The walking part is easy. We all know how to do that.
It's the setting aside the time and actually putting on your shoes and walking out the door that's hard.
Creating content and marketing your business is the same. When you've learned the process for coming up with topic ideas and answering people's questions, the content creation is as easy as going for a walk around the block.
Making the time and creating the habit around it is the hard part. And often, even if we've put it on our calendar, it's easy to not show up. These co-working times will help.
We'll all meet online at the same time and work together to create content for the channels we're working on. This provides a scheduled time on your calendar that you're not as likely to brush off because other people are counting on you being there. AND it will help you stay focused for that hour because we're all going to know if you get distracted and leave to go do the laundry or start dinner. (I'm talking to myself here...)
If you commit to the process, at the end of the 6 month program you will:
You won't just learn what to do and then be left to figure out HOW to do it on your own. The bulk of the program will be spent actually creating content.
We'll start with some key pieces of content for your website to help you turn visitors into customers.
And we won't stop there! We'll continue on so you have a library of blog posts on your site as well. All this content will position you as an expert in your niche and specialty, and will build that "know, like, and trust" that everyone talks about.
Do you know what the most stressfull part of creating content is? Not knowing what to say.
How often have you had "write blog post/newsletter/social media post" on your todo list only to stare at that blank screen paralized because you don't know what to say. Que the mindless Facebook feed scroll here... That's my goto when I'm avoiding something I'm struggling with.
In this program you'll eliminate that. You'll have more GOOD ideas than you'll have time to create! And you'll be confident that they're things your audience wants to hear.
You'll also have experimented enough so that you know what works for you - what types of content you like to create, what your ideal workflow is... AND you'll have created a habit over the 6 months to keep you going for months and years to come.
AT LEAST! I'm pretty confident you'll end up with more than that. And will come up with new ideas to add to your list, every day.
This isn't a generic list of topics. These are topics that YOUR ideal customer will be interested in. It won't matter if there are 50 agents in the program, or 500, no two lists will be the same.
Don't let that scare you! It's going to be so easy. And I'm confident you'll never be short on ideas. We'll start with at least 50, but I guarantee you'll be adding to that list almost every day.

Aside from the technology, there isn't much that's different between writing a blog post, and recording a podcast.
(Speaking of technology, I will be sharing some tips to make creating content for video and audio a little easier, but this isn't a "start a YouTube channel/podcast course", so you might still need some additional resources for those.)
Whatever content platform you want to use to communicate with your clients, you'll know exactly what to say. You won't feel pushy or salesy or awkward. It will feel completely comfortable, and will naturally help people get to know, like, and trust you, and turn them into customers for life.

The cost for the full 6-month workshop is $370. That includes all the worksheets, checklists, co-working times, tutorials, Q&A's, brainstorming sessions, and any other useful tools and resources I think of as we do the work and I see what you need.
You can pay in full, with one payment of $370
OR you can break that up into 2 monthly payments of $200 each (there is a slight upcharge of $15 per payment for this option to cover additional time and expenses for payment plans.)
You will be charged on the day you sign up, and again 30 days later.

Sometimes being a good writer, and enjoying that creative process, can make writing something like a blog post, or even a quick email, incredibly hard and stressful. (it can sometimes take me an hour or more to respond to a simple email!!)
If this sounds like you, this program will help you let go of that pressure. We're not writing Conde Nast worthy content here, we're just talking to friends. I promise you'll find it much less stressful and time consuming than you're used to.

This will help SO MUCH! One of the hardest things about starting is knowing what to talk about and what content your audience will tune in for. You'll never have that problem if you follow the suggestions from this program.
That said, this program is NOT for you if:

You're looking for a quick fix and more customers - tomorrow
This is a slow, but sustainable process. It's not going to gain you new business this week, or even this month. It could take 6 months or more to start seeing results.
BUT the results you'll see will be lasting, and will grow. The work you do in month one will produce results for you for years to come.

You don't have 1-2 hours a week available to work on growing your business.
I know you're busy, but there is no instant way to grow your business. And completely hands-off and automated solutions just don't work.
It takes time and effort to grow a business, so if you can't, or won't, set aside 1-2 hours a week to do the work needed, this isn't a good fit for you.

You're not willing to try something new
Some of the things I'm going to ask you to do might feel scary. They might feel like a waste of time. They might be things you're not really sure you can do...
I 100% understand this feeling! I struggle so much to try new things, especially if I'm not sure I'll be able to do it perfectly. And THAT has kept me from growing and making progress.
There are no guarantees in business. And no one - not even that person who has the perfectly curated social media account and makes 6 figures in their business - starts off knowing what they're doing and doing it all perfectly. I'm tailoring this program for travel agents and their specific needs. If you're not a travel agent, then this program isn't for you.
Here's one last test:

However, leading up to that I will be sending out additional content and resource recommendations to help make sure you're ready to hit the ground running. This will have to do with deciding on a niche and/or specialty to focus on as you work through the program, and getting clear on the content platform/s you want to use.
NO! In fact, one of the first things we're going to do is figure out what content platform is best for you. I don't want you to ever have to do something in your business that you hate.
Prior to the start of the workshop I'll be providing some additional "prep-work" suggestions so that you know what platforms to focus on, and who you're talking to, from day one.
One of the resources I'll be recommending is the Marketing Personalities Report from Brit Kolo. She tells you what platforms and types of content work best for you based on your Meyers Briggs personality. It's good stuff and will help you start with something that feels right.

Content doesn't just have to be used to grow your business. It can also be used to stay top of mind with your current clients, and keep them engaged, and reminding them that you're the best thing that ever happened to their vacations and they're SO lucky to have you 🙂
This can be done through a newsletter, on social media, or any other platform you want to be active on.
Maybe. It depends on what you already have.
You will definitely want to reference a book called They Ask, You Answer by Marcus Sheridan. You may be able to find this at your local library. It is also available on Amazon.
The Marketing Personalities report for your personality type is also something I would highly recommend.
There will be other books I'll reference but they won't be necessary unless you want to dig deeper into a specific area.
There also may be some tools you'll want to invest in like - social media scheduling tools, audio/video editing software etc. - but that all depends on what you want to do and what platform you want to focus on. And most will have a free version you can use.
No. You could do all of this with a social media account, or other content platforms if you're just getting started. But I do strongly recommend you eventually have your own website with a blog.

I wish I could...
I am fairly confident that this will help your business. If I wasn't I wouldn't be offering this program.
However, I can't guarantee any results. Everyone's business is different. Everyone's life is different. There are just too many variables.
If you commit to spending a few hours a week on putting in the initial work to come up with your list of content ideas, and in creating that content, and are open to experimenting a bit... I honestly can't imagine it not changing your business for the better.
But still. I am not making any guarantees. 😉
I don't know. It all depends on how this session goes.

I can't say 100% forever because, really, who knows what will happen in the future?
But I don't have any plans to take it down. And I've already paid for lifetime access to the platform that is hosting the course content, so there are no concerns about me having to pay to keep it going if I'm not actively selling it anymore.
The live components will only happen during the course of the 6-month program, but the handouts and other course materials will be available to you for as long as you need them.
That's perfectly fine! I know you're busy so do try to be mindful of that and break the work down into manageable chunks.
Also, you have lifetime access, so there's no rush to get through all of the content within a few months. The most important thing is to be consistent. Slow and steady wins the race, so as long as you keep at it, there's no rush.
Ok, honestly, no one asked this, but I do want you to know that I am REALLY hoping to be able to travel at some point over the next 6 months. And while I will try to be available when I do, I'm not always able to predict if I'll have internet access when I travel.
So there is a very real possibility that I will not be available for co-working times for a few weeks during our time together.
In that case, I'll be asking one of you to stand in for me to start the call, and end it when everyone is done. 🙂
The rest of our work together shouldn't be affected by this at all.
