Hi, I'm Christy. I'm the host of the Travel Geniuses Podcast, and I started INSIDERS for YOU.

INSIDERS is not another educational program that is going to throw a bunch of ideas and knowledge at you that you don't have time to implement.

INSIDERS is for travel agents who are sick of just "learning" how to grow a successful business, and are ready to start taking ACTION.

Things are always changing in here as we learn what's working, and what isn't. New resources will be added, but as of right now, here's what you can expect:


We'll work through 1 book every 3 to 4 months, depending on how much work is involved. This isn't some "book of the month" club, or race to see who can read the most books in a year. What's the point in reading a book, if you're not learning something, and implementing what you've learned in your business.

That means we take things slow so we have enough time to read the material, decide how to use it, and then start putting it into action.

We're not in a rush to read the book, our goal is to put what we're learning into practice so our business will benefit. It could take 2, 3, or even 4 months to get through a book, but in the end, you'll have taken massive action towards creating a successful business that you LOVE.

You'll gain insight into how you can apply what you're learning to YOUR business. How many times have you heard some expert giving advice and thought, "Well, that's nice, but how can I make that work for ME?" The travel industry is unique, and what works for other professions isn't necessarily going to work for you. I'll help you apply what we're learning to your business.

You'll also get summaries, if needed, of any questions or tasks you need to complete. How many times have you read a book and skimmed past the insightful question they asked, or the quick thing you're supposed to set up, thinking "I'll get back to this later, when I have more time."

Chances are you never got back to it, and if you did, it was buried so deep in the book you couldn't find it. I pull all of these out for you and put them in one worksheet or checklist so they're easy to access and refer back to if needed.


Every week we'll meet to implement the work from the book we're working through OR any other important, but not urgent tasks in your business. You know, those things that you know you NEED to do if you want your business to grow, but that somehow never get done. We'll meet virtually for an hour, check in, to share what we'll be working on, and then check out at the end to share our progress.

I know it sounds silly because - you could just do this on your own, right? Just schedule a time to write your newsletter and get it done.

Except it doesn't get done because - the dog needs to go out, and you need to check your email, or a client calls, or your best friend wants to meet for lunch... And who's going to know if you put it off until tomorrow?

The problem is, tomorrow never comes and the newsletter never gets written, and a year later you're still not doing any of the tasks you know you need to if you want to grow your business. ASK ME HOW I KNOW!

This has been SO helpful for those who have participated and has turned into a great benefit of the group.


I do have more ideas, that could happen as the group grows, and I figure out how to make them work 🙂
  • A weekly check-in and check out to keep you accountable and on track. Listen, I'm not going to be showing up at your door if you haven't done the work, but I've found that just tracking my progress on the metrics that are important to me, and reviewing my week and considering what worked, and what didn't, has made a massive difference in my business. And I want that for you, too. But if you're like me, it won't get done if it's not easy, so I am working on a way to make it super easy.
  • A Q&A call with the author, if possible. This will be your chance to get answers to all of your questions directly from the author! The possibility of this happening will obviously depend on who the author is, and how many members we have, but I do know some people, so you never know. 😉 It's MUCH more likely to happen as the group grows, so tell your friends!
  • Private Q&A calls with podcast guests. I have a lot of guests scheduled to be on the show this year, from authors, to coaches, to travel industry experts. If there's enough interest I may be able to talk them into a private Q&A session JUST for INSIDERS.
  • ??? What else? I have more ideas, but this is for YOU, not me, so I'll be collecting suggestions from members inside the group, too.

Everyone wants more clients. When I poll people who join my group, the number one answer I get, when I ask what they struggle with the most, is marketing.

But what most people don't realize is that if they spent that time taking care of the customers they DO have, they wouldn't have to worry about where the next customer was going to come from, because their existing customers would never leave. In fact, they'd multiply because they'd be referring their friends and family, probably without even being asked.

We're really going to take our time with this book, and if you're willing to do the work, you'll end up with systems and processes in place to follow that plan. I'll offer suggestions, of course, but we'll also work together to find ways to apply his ideas to YOUR business, and figure out ways to automate as much as possible, and build systems so things don't fall through the cracks.

Q   What if I want to cancel? 

I plan to provide so much value, you'll never want to 🙂 However, you are welcome to cancel at any time. While we won't issue refunds for past or current months, there's no penalty, and no minimum number of months you need to remain a member.

Simply email me at least 3 days before your next billing date to ensure I have time to process your cancelations. All requests made after that date will take effect at the end of the next billing cycle.

Q   I'm a new agent / I'm an experienced agent, will the things we're learning apply to me? 

Yes! The books we'll be working through are applicable to almost any business, period. We'll be working through things like, setting up a system to get referrals, how to manage your money, mindset, customer experience... All. The. Business. Things.

There will be times when I'll add a course on something more specialized that maybe not everyone will need to learn about (Instagram, podcasting, etc.). In these cases I'll do this as an optional add-on, either included in the cost of your monthly membership, or at an additional charge, I haven't quite decided yet.

This will be in addition to our regular books, so no one will be missing out on anything.

Q   How much time will this take? 

I know you're super busy, so I'm not trying to add another hour's worth of tasks to your already overloaded day. BUT I want this to work for you, too, you know? I don't want this to be another thing you sign up for that doesn't get you results or bring about the changes you want to see in your business.

My intent is that this will require no more than an hour or two of work each week. Probably less most weeks. (in addition to the time to read / listen to the book)

There may be weeks when you have to set something up, that requires a bit more time, and then other weeks where you're just spending 15 minutes making some decisions about your business.

I promise to do everything I can to balance making this manageable and effective for you.

Q   Are there any additional costs? 

Ok, that's not really a question anyone has asked me, but I wanted a way to make sure you knew that you will have to get your hands on these books. So in addition to the monthly membership fee you will need to buy a copy of the book (or get a copy from your library, if you can) I'm not choosing super obscure books, so I anticipate all of them being available in print, ebook, or audio book format.

And, depending on your business and the work we're doing, you may want to invest in some tools like an email marketing provider, a CRM, etc. But these are normal business expenses, so not really expenses related to the course.

Q   Why does it say "Free Trial" on the checkout page?  

Because... I'm doing this a little differently than I originally planned, and am opening up registration a little earlier than anticipated and I don't want you to pay me 2 weeks or more before we start, so I had to add that trial period so it won't charge you until the end of the month.

Sorry, it's not perfect. But done is better than perfect, right? 😉
